All Nippon Airways Co. (ANA), one of Japan's two major airline companies, was annoyed on Sunday by a computer system glitch, which forced it to cancel some domestic flights from Tokyo's Haneda airport.
ANA said the trouble was caused by malfunction of the system which controls the reservation, boarding arrangements and luggage flows, according to NHK news.
Operations of some other domestic airlines, such as Hokkaido International Airlines Co. whose systems are linked with that of ANA, were also affected, Kyodo News said.
The cause of the rare trouble is under investigation.
